Applying for citywide or local funding

The Discretionary Response Fund is divided into different pools across the city.

It's important that your application goes to the right group for making a decision.

For guidance, follow the steps below.

Is your project mostly focused on a local area, or is it citywide?

For projects focused on a building or facility, please apply to the community board area where that building is physically located.
For projects focused on the delivery of activities or programmes, please apply to the community board area where the majority of people benefiting from your project are from.

Apply for local funding from the Waitai Coastal-Burwood-Linwood Community Board

Apply for local funding from the Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board

Apply for local funding from the Waipuna Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Board

Apply for local funding from the Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board

Apply for local funding from the Waihoro Spreydon-Cashmere-Heathcote Community Board
