Funding for the 2024 Christchurch Heritage Festival 

Please note:
  • The Christchurch City Council is currently developing its Long Term Plan 2024 -2034. In the draft plan the Christchurch Heritage Festival Community Grants scheme is not funded. 
  • The Long Term Plan is due to be finalised in late June. At that time the availability of any grants for this year’s festival will be confirmed. 
  • If you submit a grant request as part of your application, please be aware that the grant scheme is currently not funded and please make clear whether or not your event will go ahead without grant funding.

Event marketing

We require an image for marketing your event and the Heritage Festival. This will be used on the What’s On website and may be used in other online and print media.

Please note: 
  • You must have permission to use any image you submit.
  • Your image must be the correct dimensions and of acceptable quality.
  • Your image can not contain wording or logos.

Allowed images .jpg .jpeg .png. Aspect ratio 16:9 e.g. 800px wide and 450px high. Images that do not conform will be cropped to fit.
